A set of 3 cutting discs for the LUBA 4 AWD 12000F
Thom Concept is planning a pack of three Turbine discs for the Mammotion LUBA 4 AWD 12000F. This version will meet the three-disc architecture announced for this robot, subject to validation of the interfaces and operation on the machine.

Why a specific version for the 12000F?
Mammotion distinguishes the LUBA 4 AWD 12000F, equipped with three discs, from the LUBA 4 AWD 3000F and 6000F, equipped with two discs. The Thom Concept project therefore plans a complete set of three pieces for the 12000F.
We will separately check the three positions: attachment, clearances, direction of rotation, dimensions, and interactions between cutting zones. It is not yet established whether the three discs will have identical geometry or be interchangeable.

Building on the LUBA 2 design for three cutting discs
The project is based on the principles of the Turbine Disc V2 LUBA 2: ventilated geometry, integrated plate covers, and reinforced structure. The objective is to work on grass clipping discharge and protection of the blade attachments, in a three-disc configuration.
The images presented are those of the current LUBA version. They illustrate this design base; they do not show a validated prototype for the 12000F, nor the final content of the future three-disc pack. The performance and characteristics of the old version are not promised for the new robot.
From adaptation to robot testing
- Robot access: we are waiting to be able to examine the machine and its original plates.
- Measurements and design: checking the attachment interface, clearances around the disc, and available space for the blades.
- Prototype and verifications: checking assembly, freedom of movement of the blades, clearances, balancing, and rotational behavior.
- Mowing tests: observation of cutting, grass accumulation, and maintenance before any commercial validation.
These steps are planned; they have not yet been carried out on the new models. We will publish photos, test results, and assembly instructions here as they become available.

How many discs are planned for the 12000F?
A set of three discs is planned by Thom Concept, for the three plates announced by Mammotion on the LUBA 4 AWD 12000F. The final content and any specific parts will be detailed after testing.
Can a disc be added to the existing LUBA 2 pair?
We cannot confirm this possibility. The compatibility of old parts is not validated, and each cutting position of the 12000F will need to be checked.
Will the three discs be identical?
This is a point to check on the robot. The project covers the three cutting positions without presuming their interchangeability or mounting direction.
Can I order or pre-order these discs?
Not yet. Orders will open after testing and validation of the relevant version, when we can indicate its price and availability.
Will the blades and screws be included?
The exact content will be indicated after validation: number and type of compatible blades, screws, and any options with or without blades. The characteristics of the current versions are not automatically transferable.
Does the robot need to be modified to mount the discs?
The attachment method and assembly procedure will be confirmed after examination of the machine. We cannot yet guarantee assembly without modification.
Will these discs improve cutting in wet or dense grass?
The objective of the Turbine Disc range is to limit grass accumulation and facilitate maintenance of the cutting area. Results on these new robots remain to be measured; no performance gain is announced before testing.
