Turbine cutting discs for the new Dreame A4 AWD Pro range
Thom Concept plans to adapt its Turbine cutting discs to the Dreame A4 AWD Pro range, announced at IFA 2026. Development will be based on our version for the Dreame A3 AWD and A3 AWD Pro, followed by measurements and tests on the new robot.
Are you looking for an anti-clogging disc, a replacement cutting disc, or information on Dreame A4 AWD accessories? This page compiles the project status and will be updated until a validated version is available.
Which Dreame A4 models are targeted?
The Dreame announcement presents the A4 AWD Pro series with versions for areas up to 3,500 m² and 5,000 m². We plan to examine the versions we can obtain and indicate the exact compatible commercial references after verification. These announced areas alone do not constitute a spare part reference.
Compatibility with A3, other Dreame generations, and MOVA cannot be deduced from the range name. The number of discs, their dimensions, and the content of the future A4 set will be specified after examination.
A base derived from the Dreame A3 disc
Our Turbine Disc Dreame A3 AWD / A3 AWD Pro combines radial geometry, an integrated disc cover, and a reinforced structure. These principles serve as a starting point for studying the future A4 version.
The goal remains to address grass accumulation around fastenings and maintenance of the cutting area. Compatible blades, number of slots, fastenings, and cutting characteristics of the future A4 will need to be validated separately. No gain in cutting, ventilation, or lifespan is announced before testing.
Are A3 discs compatible with the Dreame A4?
This compatibility is not confirmed. The A3 model serves as a design base and visual reference, without guaranteeing installation on the A4. We will specifically check the fastening interface, blade clearance, and clearances in the cutting area and near the edge trimming system.
From adaptation to robot testing
- Robot access: We are waiting to be able to examine the machine and its original cutting discs.
- Measurements and design: Checking the fastening interface, clearances around the disc, and available space for the blades.
- Prototype and verifications: Checking assembly, blade freedom of movement, play, balancing, and rotational behavior.
- Mowing tests: Observing the cut, grass accumulation, and maintenance before any commercial validation.
These steps are planned; they have not yet been carried out on the new models. We will publish photos, test results, and assembly instructions here as they become available.
Price, availability, and email alert
These discs are not yet available for sale. No price or shipping time is announced at this time. The alert list is free, with no payment, no reservation, and no purchase commitment. It will notify you when your version is ready.
Questions about Dreame A4 AWD / A4 AWD Pro discs
Can I use my Dreame A3 AWD Pro discs on the A4?
Wait for compatibility validation. Current A3 parts have not yet been verified on the A4 and are not marketed as compatible with this new model.
Will the version for 3,500 m² be identical to the one for 5,000 m²?
We will specify after comparing the robots. The announced range covers these two areas, but this does not prove that the cutting interfaces are identical.
Will the future A4 disc also be compatible with MOVA?
No MOVA compatibility is announced for this A4 project. MOVA products and the Dreame A3/MOVA pack already available retain their own lists of compatible models.
Can I order or pre-order these discs?
Not yet. Orders will open after testing and validation of the relevant version, when we can indicate its price and availability.
Will blades and screws be included?
The exact content will be indicated after validation: number and type of compatible blades, screws, and any options with or without blades. The characteristics of current versions are not automatically transferable.
Do I need to modify the robot to install the discs?
The fastening method and assembly procedure will be confirmed after examination of the machine. We cannot yet guarantee assembly without modification.
Will these discs improve cutting in wet or dense grass?
The goal of the Turbine Disc range is to limit grass accumulation and facilitate maintenance of the cutting area. Results on these new robots remain to be measured; no performance gain is announced before testing.
