Do these discs change the cutting height?

No, they maintain the original cutting height. Their shape respects the robot's tolerances.

What is the main advantage compared to original discs?

Active ventilation reduces grass accumulation under the robot, and their structure is much more rigid, thus more durable in intensive use.

Do I need balancing or calibration after installation?

No. The discs are balanced by design. No adjustments are required after installation.

Are the discs compatible with all standard blades?

YUKA and YUKA Mini Turbine Disc V2 only use short blades. They are not compatible with Bosch Indego format blades. The short blades offered by Thom Concept are also suitable for original YUKA and YUKA Mini discs as well as the corresponding Turbine Disc V1.

Mammotion YUKA

Compatible with Mammotion YUKA robots. Version supplied as a pair for robots equipped with two cutting decks.

Mammotion YUKA Mini

Compatible with Mammotion YUKA Mini robots. Single unit version for robots equipped with a single cutting deck.

With or without 35 mm OEM-type blades

Versions with blades come with original 35mm blades. Versions without blades are suitable if you already have compatible blades.

INSTALLATION

Assembly without modifying the robot

  1. Secure the robot

    Turn off the power and turn the robot over according to Mammotion safety instructions.

  2. Replace trays

    Install the Turbine Disc V2 in place of the original cutting plates, without modifying the robot.

  3. Check the direction and blades

    Check that each disc is mounted on the correct side and that the blades pivot freely.

The direction of the fins influences the airflow. Check the right and left sides before tightening the discs permanently.

Are these discs compatible with the YUKA Mini?

Yes, provided you choose the YUKA Mini variant. The YUKA and YUKA Mini versions should not be confused.

How many discs are included?

The YUKA version comes with 2 discs. The YUKA Mini version comes with 1 disc.

What blades are included with the bladed versions?

The blade versions come with 35mm original-type blades, suitable for the YUKA / YUKA Mini.

Do disks totally eliminate jamming?

No. They are designed to reduce grass accumulation and help the blades stay freer. In very wet, very high, or sticky grass, maintenance is still required.

Should the robot be modified?

No. The discs mount in place of the original platters, without modifying the robot.

Can the blades be changed without dismounting the entire disc cover?

Yes, the design allows for blade replacement without having to dismantle the entire platter cover.
